First things first, we don’t normally have beards. Tim/Teen Wolf has one seasonally and Sean has never tried it…too complicated.
Anyway, another Sean (the bearded Collins) has founded the Jacksonville chapter of Beard Team USA. They’re the folks who put on the National Beard & Mustache Championships. Odds are you’ve seen these people, its awesome.
So Sean asked us to help him out with a logo for the Jacksonville Beardsmith Society and we obliged. After a night of awesome brainstorming (we’ve never sketched that many beards) and some great music DVDs (Smashing Pumpkins’ Vieuphoria, Radiohead’s From the Basement and Ben Folds Five’s Live at Sessions at West 54th) we knocked out the little fella below:
Check out the website, which should be updated soon, and go to a meeting! The first one is TOMORROW (January 27) and every last Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm at Steamworks in 5 points, here’s a map if you don’t know how to get there.
The best part is, If you don’t have a beard, one will be provided for you.
